Ryo Nishikido , Yuko Araki and Eiichiro Funakoshi are cast in Fuji drama series Trace: Kasouken no Otoko . The drama series is based on manga Toresu: Kasouken Hoi Kenkyuin no Tsuiso by Kei Koga. In the drama series, Ryo Nishikido will play forensic scientist Reiji Mano who is very knowledgeable but uncooperative with his colleagues. He also hates media and is looking in an old case. He excludes subjectivity and speculation, only believes in the objective truth obtained from the expert opinion. Yuko Araki will play a rookie forensic scientist Nonna Sawaguchi. Another week went with no changes in the leaders in terms of viewership of Korean Drama Ratings. Where Star Lands and Bad Papa did not air on Monday and Tuesday respectively because of baseball games. It didn’t have much impact as 100 Days My Prince continues to lead the pack. Let’s see if it can reach 14.0 with its finale. Terius Behind Me reaches 10.0 followed by Heart Surgeons whereas The Ghost Detective in the last position. The Smile Has Left Your Eyes and The Ghost Detective both losing audiences. As I predicted earlier When Time Stops didn’t garner any audiences. My Only One clear winner in the weekend with My Healing Love having some increase. I was most surprised with an increase in ratings of Ms. Ma with Big Forest only achieving 1.0. SBS Inkigayo  performances from Episode 980 along with MCs DIA’s Jung Chae Yeon, SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu and Song Kang. This was Song Kang’s last appearance as a MC. He will be seen in the variety show MiChuRi with Yoo Jae-seok, Black Pink’s Jennie and others. Quite a lot of comeback stages BoA returned with “irreversible” and “woman”, Golden Child with “Genie”, Stray Kids with “I am You” and MONSTA X with “Shoot Out”. MONSTA X performance was also my favorite of the day. Other performers were S#aFLA, Lee Hong Ki, Soya etc. Nominees for the 1st position were Zion.T, IU and Im Chang Jung. I really love Historical Korean dramas or Sageuk and I am a bit disappointed with the lack in quantity of sageuk dramas this year. Although lacking in quantity but not in quality I really enjoyed all of them. I decided to make a joint list from dramas of 2017 and 2018. As I have just started writing regular posts on this website (Sept. 2018), I thought to include dramas from 2017 as well. This list is based on my opinion and biases. As mentioned previously Sulli is back with a new variety show Jinri Market. It looks like it will be a 12 part series and 1st episode was recently premiered. This is a little recap of the first episode and at the bottom of the page you could checkout the whole episode. INTRODUCTION: Sulli is on a phone call with someone and she has some tears in her eyes. Their are a few clips of what we will see in the future episodes. Production staff wants to see if people will change their views about Sulli after the show. Kim Hyun-Joong returns to the small screen after 4 years break with a new drama When Time Stops. This is his first drama after his return from his military service. Last few years has been quite tough on him because of all the scandals. In the press conference of the drama, he asked to judge him on his acting abilities.
