SBS Entertainment Awards 2018 hosted by Kim Jong Kook, Han Go Eun, Park Soo Hong, announced its winners. Lee Seung Gi won the Daesang for the show Master In The House.   Kim Jong-Kook won the Producer’s choice for Running Man   and My Ugly Duckling.   Jeon So-Min won The Top Excellence awards in variety for Running Man.   The best show award went to My Ugly Duckling. 2018 is coming to end so I decided to make a list of my favorite variety shows of 2018 that lack the exposure to the foreign audience. You may have not heard about these shows maybe because no English subtitles are available or maybe the lack of a big name in the cast. I have excluded popular shows like Running Man, 1N2D, NJTTW, also food shows are excluded (I am vegetarian hence I don’t watch these shows). As I didn’t watch each and every variety show that aired in 2018 (I tried my best) it is possible I may have missed few that deserves the place in the list. My Strange Hero Episode 5 and 6 Recap Bad Student Soo-Jeong agrees that Bok-Su should be punished for his dangerous behavior. She gives him volunteer work instead of expulsing him. She gets in a conflict with parents association, Soo-Jeong takes further responsibility for Bok-Su’s future actions. Bok-Su is not happy that she has involved herself in this issue. Later, Soo-Jeong regrets her decision that got her job in jeopardy. Young-Min also decides to leave his elite class, he goes to wildflower class and becomes Bok-Su’s new classmate. Min-Ji becomes the new lunch lady at the school, she warns Soo-Jeon to stay away from Bok-Su. She further tells Soo-Jeong that she is in a relationship with Bok-Su. Later, Soo-Jeong sees them together and gets the wrong idea. Close Moments Bok-Su searches Se-Ho’s office in hope to find some clue about his weakness. Running Man Episode 431 Recap The Boatman Team YangAChi are on their way to the fishing mission, in the van Kwang-Soo takes out few ballots even though they lost all of their ballots after betting against Jon-Kook team. It turns out he stole these ballots from Se-Chan, Si-Young takes those ballots from him by force and he is unable to say anything. They get on the boat for their mission, Haha starts to act as a veteran fisherman which annoys Kwang-Soo. Haha gets seasick, Kwang-Soo and Si-Young both starts making fun of him. Before the mission started the PD told the YangAChi team to remember everything that happens on the boat, it will help them with their additional mission. The team starts reeling the net and finish their primary mission. During the additional mission, they get unexpected help from the captain of the boat and they successfully clear the additional mission. KBS Entertainment Awards returns this year after last year’s hiatus. This Year’s MCs are Shin Hyun Joon, Yoon Shi Yoon, Seolhyun (AOA). Fluttering Warning Episode 15 and 16 Recap Just Like That Yoo-Jung and Woo-Hyun decide to get married on a whim because of Yoo-Jung’s long overseas schedule. Jae-Kyung is not happy with Yoo-Jung deciding on such a big decision without her involvement and on a spur of a moment. Woo-Hyun gives the good news to Yoo-Jung’s father, Yoo-Jung gives the good news to Woo-Hyun’s mother. Hye-Joo is having trouble after Mrs. Go’s counter-attacks on her business. Yoo-Jung’s meets with her father, he tells her that he gave his consent to Woo-Hyun and wishes her happiness. Hye-Joo’s secretary goes to Yoo-Jung’s father’s restaurant impersonating as a reporter. He is also recording their conversations, he runs away when Min-A recognizes him and takes away his recorder. Jae-Kyung gives Yoo-Jung her permission as well for the wedding. Encounter Episode 8 Recap I am Just a Puppet Furious Soo-Hyun calls Mr Choi and asks him why did he backstab her? He tells her that she already knows it is not his own doing, Mrs Kim is behind all this. Soo-Hyun further tells him that she is going to fight against Mrs Kim so he should make his choice and choose the right side. Jin-Hyeok meets Soo-Hyun and tells her not to stop his transfer because it will look like favouritism. Soo-Hyun then meets with his mother and tells her that Mrs Kim may sue Soo-Hyun over divorce agreement. She further tells her mother to stop meeting Mrs Kim as Soo-Hyun will not get back together with Woo-Seok. Her mother wants her to thinks about how it will affect his father’s politics, Soo-Hyun tells her if this kind of thing will affect politics than it is not politics. Encounter Episode 7 Recap The Rebellion After Soo-Hyun reveals her relationship status to the world her mother gets angry with her. She wants Soo-Hyun to ask forgiveness from Mrs Kim, Soo-Hyun tells her from now on she is going to live her own life. Soo-Hyun then meets Jin-Hyeok’s team as an excuse to see him. The team members understand the situation and leave both of them alone. Mrs Kim finds out that the reporter at the press conference was Mr Choi’s doing, she tells him to take care of Jin-Hyeok and get him fired. Next day at works Jin-Hyeok’s team members want to get “close” to him for some reason which he finds burdening. Later, Hye-In tells him that someone asked her to write the recently written article on bulletin board about Soo-Hyun. She further tells him she is not the one who wrote that article.
