Min-Ji sees Bok-Su and Soo-Jeong kissing each other, Kyung-Hyun tries to comfort her. Soo-Jeong and Bok-Su are little awkward with each other in the car on their way back home. Bok-Su drops her home and gives her a kiss on the cheek, Se-Ho sees them and gets enraged with jealousy. He feels he is again a step behind Bok-Su when it comes to Soo-Jeong. Soo-Jeong, on the other hand, wanted more than a kiss on the cheek from Bok-Su. Next day Bok-Su is flying like a kite, he thanks Mr. Park for his “help”. Bok-Su’s classmates think Soo-Jeong is dating Se-Ho, Bok-Su tells them to stop spreading false rumors and that Soo-Jeong already has a boyfriend. When kids ask Soo-Jeong about her relationship with Se-Ho, she denies of any such thing.

Meanwhile, Se-Ho is trying to reduce his mother’s influence on the school. Bok-Su pulls Soo-Jeong in the infirmary, he is jealous about Soo-Jeong talking to Se-Ho (while she was expecting a kiss from Bok-Su). She tells him that she doesn’t need to report everything to him as they just kissed and are not in an actual relationship (playing push and pull). Bok-Su again comes down to earth after Soo-Jeong’s comments, Mr. Park has to listen to his nonsense. During their class, Bok-Su asks Soo-Jeong for a date (with a secret note), she looks excited about it although saying she won’t go (while talking to herself). Bok-Su’s sister joins mother’s association in hopes to help her son.

Bok-Su throws an event for Soo-Jeong to make their relationship official. She accepts his proposal even though the ring doesn’t fit. They go on a date, Soo-Jeong sees a couple of her students and hides her and Bok-Su. While hiding they get photographed by an unknown person. Next day, Bok-Su sister goes to the school (as a proctor), she finds out her son is not as good academically as he told her. She goes bat-shit crazy on her son (the son runs away), she then gets angry at Bok-Su for not telling her the truth. Mi-Jin and Kyung-Hyun find In-Ho(Bok-Su’s nephew), Soo-Jeong and Bok-Su take him to his mom.  In-Ho tells his mother that he lied because it made her smile knowing her son got good marks.

Uncle and nephew are awkward on their return to school now that everyone knows about their relationship. Se-Ho calls out Soo-Jeon, he again tries to confess to her. She turns him down, he sees the ring and understands it is because of Bok-Su. He doesn’t understand why she likes crappy Bok-Su and not him. Soo-Jeong tells him he should know it better as he used to like Bok-Su as well. She further tells him not to bother Bok-Su anymore as he has already suffered too much because of both of them. Se-Ho broken hearted goes to the home, his mother knows it is because of Soo-Jeong. Se-Ho stands up to his mother and tells her to leave Soo-Jeong alone. Her mother is really angry with his attitude, he tells her he will destroy on his own if he can’t get her.

Se-Ho calls someone to proceed with something, next day fraud Myung-Ho is appointed back to his position. Soo-Jeong is not happy to see him back again, she confronts him but gets dejected. Bok-Su charges to Se-ho and asks him why he brought Myung-Ho back knowing full well what he did to Soo-Jeong. Se-Ho tells him he should more worry about what will happen if parents find out about a teacher dating her student. Bok-Su laughs at him and tells Se-Ho that if he expels him than there will be no reason to hide his relationship with Soo-Jeong. Furthermore, she will never have to see Se-Ho again. Bok-Su further asks him what wrong did he do to Se-Ho. Se-Ho replies that because of Bok-Su his life became miserable.

Thoughts

The official start of the relationship between Bok-Su and Soo-Jeong. You can also say it the start of a war between Soo-Jeong and Se-Ho. The pacing of the storyline seems a bit slow, things are happening on the screen but nothing actual meaningful advances in the storyline. I guess that is because of the length of the series and it mostly happens during the mid-way of all the Korean mini-series. I hope the story picks up the pace in upcoming episodes. I could be feeling this way about the pace because I saw the thrilling first episode of The Crowned Clown.

Korean Drama Ratings October 29 to November 4, 2018

Halloween week is over and so does end of the run for few drama series. Here are Korean Drama Ratings for the period of Oct 29 to Nov 4.  100 Days My Prince ended with ratings over 14 as we expected. Other dramas from Mon-Tue. bracket lost them, viewers.  Bad Papa  did not air on Tuesday because of a baseball game. We have to see if  Mama and The Woodcutter will be able to keep these viewers. There is also a good chance that  Where Stars Land  comes out as the new leader. Terius Behind me kept also its lead and closely followed by much more interesting Heart Surgeons .  The Guest  and  The Ghost Detective both also aired their finales. The Guest got a very good rating of 4 whereas the ghost detective stayed around 2. The newcomer Fluttering Warning achieved 2 while The Smile Has Left Your Eyes went below 3.
