The Other Love Line

She confesses to him, she further tells him that after seeing him together with Soo-Hyun she understood that she only liked him but didn’t love him. Hye-In knows that he is a very good person and she hopes Jin-Hyeok doesn’t end his relationship with Soo-Hyun. Elsewhere, Dae-Chan finds out from Mi-Jin that Jin-Hyeok and Soo-Hyun have broken up, he then gifts earrings to Mi-Jin. Mi-Jin apologizes to him and declines his gift. They have their first date after making up at Dae-Chan’s restaurant. One Year later, a new recruit joins the Jin-Hyeok’s team, he seems to give similar vibes to Jin-Hyeok. Woo-Seok is left alone, his mother denies all his visitation requests. Everyone else seems to be doing fine, Jin-Hyeok proposes to Soo-Hyun.
Thoughts
I can hear the sigh of relief from all you guys who were hoping for a happy ending. We do get a happy ending, a bit too happy for my liking but still not bad. I have to say this episode was a bit lacking when compared to the series as a whole.
The leading couple of Park Bo-Gum and Song-Hye-Kyo overshadowed everything in this show with their star power alone. I can guarantee that if we replace the leading couple with some actors who are less popular that this drama wouldn’t have reached the heights it did. Big applause for both of them for the great work.
Out of all the character, I feel most sorry for Woo-Seok, he lost his “soulmate” and his mother as well. I really enjoyed Jang Seung-Jo’s acting, I wish we were shown more of him. I will be waiting for his next project.
The second couple of Dae-Chan and Mi-Jin were really funny although I sometimes feel the overacting from Mi-Jin which could have been annoying but their chemistry overshadowed it.
Any of you guys hyped about the next drama replacing Encounter, Touch Your Heart starring Goblin couple Lee Dong-Wook and Yoo In-Na.
